DJ Terrace was born from a love of hardcore breakbeats in the early 90s. Beginning as several separate personas, the man now known as DJ Terrace was first signed in 1992 under a different name and has produced many different styles and genres since. 

Seeing the re-emergence of Jungle and hardcore music in 2018-19, DJ Terrace ended his 18-year hiatus and began to produce brand-new material. This was a learning curve due to advancements in production techniques, but Terrace was able to fuse new technology with his old equipment to produce the best material he could. His first new music was digitally released in 2020 and he continues to produce new ideas that were simply not possible back in the day.

After approaching a number of record labels, DJ Terrace had his first track signed to appear on vinyl by Karma Recordings in 2022. From that moment on, Terrace has appeared on multiple Karma releases. Another label, Concrete Castles, signed 3 tracks for a full Terrace release on multiple coloured vinyls (this was the first all-Terrace 12" to come out in the new era).

During this time, Terrace approached the mighty Kniteforce Records, who were working with some of the biggest names (young and old) on the re-emerging Jungle and hardcore rave scene. Terrace submitted multiple tunes and Kniteforce owner and founder Chris (AKA Luna-C) signed a 4-track 12" for the labels KNITEFORCE WHITE, imprint. It was at this point that DJ Terrace became exclusive to Kniteforce. 

Kniteforce is now the home of DJ Terrace with many more releases to come.
